the hardest part.

Dr. B said in class on tuesday that God is always with us, no matter what. in my life, i've heard this sentiment countless times, but i don't think it resonated quite as much as it did when he mentioned it for the eighteenth gazillion time.God wants nothing more than the best for us (and of us) all the time. why should time limit itself to our conception of it? God is on another plane of time entirely (there's a greek word for it, but i don't really feel like referencing my notes right now...i'll edit this later)! the really nifty aspect of God's time, at least in the way i understand it (i'll stand corrected if the need arises), is that there is no time. time is all the time in no time at all (this also supports the age old advice always given: "it shall be in God's time...don't you worry your pretty little head).

why should God abandon us at the height of our neediness for him (i'm talking DEATH here, peeps [you just read that in stephen barebo's voice. don't deny this.].)? we established in class that we are with God before birth, why then would it be any different after death? after all, if we are to believe Paul, we are merely sleeping, waiting for JC to come back or whatever.

now, i don't know about you, but that is super comforting to me (both the sleeping bit and the God bit...i never am able to achieve enough sleep). God is always with us, He created us for a beautiful, higher purpose due to the fact that He is in fact always with us, and He created us the way we are for a specific, beautiful reason also tracing back to the fact that He is always with us.

WOW. that is positively mind boggling, is it not? let me say this again.
GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU. ALWAYSALWAYSALWAYS. GOD CREATED YOU THE WAY YOU ARE BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND IS ALWAYS WITH YOU. (in case the point still is not registering for some reason or another, you are beautiful. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.)

embrace the love, kiddos. most importantly, embrace YOU. God does, and i do too.
