the video basically explains it all, but alongside the whole verb concept i've put forward: i put too much stock in my outward appearance of faith. for instance, colby mentioned that when he looked around his room he was too focused on the other aspects of his life outside his Christianity...i am far too focused on my Catholicism and making it look as if i spend all my time involved in my Catholicism. for instance, there is a rosary hanging on my bulletin board. i've used it maybe once. there is a vial of holy water from Medjugorie that i sprinkled around my room at the beginning of last semester, but i've not used it to bless myself since then. in addition, i haven't opened my prayer journal in gosh knows how long or read my devotional.
